New Year, Big Changes
As 2022 comes to an end, we are expecting to see some big changes coming within the Telecoms industry.
2023 is the beginning of the end of traditional phone lines. September 2023 is the scheduled date to completely stop the selling of phone lines. With December 2025 being the big switch-off.
What does this mean?
Once September comes around, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) will no longer be able to sell the phone line with your broadband. Although the traditional phone line is often forgotten in the modern household, businesses often still use these phone lines as many don’t want to or have the time to swap to a VoIP telephony system.
In December 2025 the traditional phone line will be cut and disappear altogether. Anyone with a traditional phone line in December 2025 won’t be able to make or receive phone calls from a landline.
Some ISPs have started handing out VoIP telephony phones to new customers or those up for renewal, current customers may not have the opportunity to get hands on a VoIP handset until later in the year.
Why swap now?
Businesses primarily are always aiming to get ahead of the curve not only to beat competition but to provide great services to their customers. VoIP phones give the tools to a business, so they can stand out from the rest.
Not only will you get a top of the range VoIP system, you’ll save money. Our VoIP systems are entirely designed to fit your business in the best possible way. Working within a budget and to the company spec.
VoIP handsets are expected to raise in price once the phone lines are cut due to supply and demand. Getting in the game early gives you a head start.
The best way to connect.
VoIP telephony gives you more than just a way to make and receive calls. It gives you a way to completely manage and control incoming and outgoing calls. Giving you all the systems you had and more, and all you need is an internet connection.
