5G Business Broadband No Line Needed

Mobile signal checker
Is there 5G at your site?
Enter your postcode and pick your address to see Ofcom’s predicted mobile coverage there. Signal can be weaker indoors, so we confirm it for you before you commit.
What this means for you
We will confirm the signal for you
This is Ofcom’s prediction for the address. Thick walls and basements can weaken signal indoors, so we check your building before you order 5G broadband at £30 a month.
Rather we checked for you? Send us your postcode and we will tell you what to expect.

We check the signal and set it all up. One small UK team, from order to online.Who 5G broadband is for
Three ways businesses use 5G.
Pick the one that sounds like you.
Temporary sites
Online wherever the job is.
Site offices, building sites, pop-up shops, events and short-term premises. 5G needs no cable, so your team can be online wherever there is a signal, and you can take the router with you when the job moves on.
- No cable and no engineer visit
- Take it with you to the next site
- Static IP for CCTV and remote access
New offices
Work from day one, not install day.
Full fibre needs an engineer visit and a leased line can take 30 to 90 working days. 5G gets your team working while you wait, then stays on as a backup once the fixed line is in.
- Working while the fixed line goes in
- No gap in calls or cloud apps
- Keep it afterwards as your backup
Backup and failover
A cable fault no longer stops the office.
Roadworks and cable faults happen. With a router that supports failover, the office switches to 5G on its own when the fibre drops, so calls, card payments and cloud apps keep working.
- Switches over automatically
- Calls and card payments carry on
- Just £30 a month on top of your line
5G backup for your fibre
When the fibre drops, the office stays online.
Pair 5G with your full fibre or leased line. A router that supports failover watches the main connection and moves you onto 5G the moment it stops, then back again when it returns. Try it on the right.
Everything runs over the fibre. The 5G backup waits in standby.

£30a month, plus VAT. £50 one-off set-up.
- No engineer visit

Or pair it with a fixed line
5G makes a low-cost backup for a fixed connection, so one fault never takes the office offline.
Prices exclude VAT. Routers are supplied separately, and we can provide one set up for you, including routers that switch to 5G on their own.
5G vs fibre
5G, full fibre and leased lines, side by side.
Where full fibre is available, it is usually the better main connection for an office. 5G shines where there is no line yet, the site is temporary, or you need a backup.

FAQ
5G business broadband: common questions
Straight answers on 5G, prices and set-up. For every connection side by side, see our business broadband page.
What is 5G business broadband?
It is broadband that runs over the 5G mobile network instead of a cable. A 5G router picks up the signal and shares the connection with your team over WiFi or cable, just like any other office broadband. It is also known as mobile broadband.
How much does 5G broadband cost?
5G broadband is £30 a month plus VAT, with a one-off £50 set-up fee. A static IP is included. Routers are supplied separately, and we can provide one set up for you.
What speeds will I get?
Speeds depend on the 5G signal at your site, which varies by location, building and network. We check the signal at your address before you order and tell you straight what to expect.
Is 5G available at my address?
Use the mobile signal checker at the top of this page. Enter your postcode and pick your address to see Ofcom’s predicted coverage. Signal can be weaker indoors, so we confirm it for you before you order.
Does 5G broadband need an engineer visit?
No. There is no cable to install, so there is no engineer visit. You plug in the router where the signal is strongest and your team is online. We give you a date when you order.
Can I use 5G as a backup to my fibre?
Yes. With a router that supports failover, your office switches to 5G on its own when the fibre or leased line drops, then back again when it returns. We can supply and set up the router for you.
Is 5G broadband good for a temporary site?
Yes. Site offices, building sites, events and pop-up shops can be online without waiting for a fixed line, and the router can move with you to the next site.
What if there is no 5G signal at my site?
5G routers can also use 4G where 5G is not available, so you may still get a usable connection. We check the signal first and recommend another option, such as SoGEA or full fibre, if 5G is not right for your site.
Is a static IP included?
Yes. Every business broadband connection we supply, including 5G, comes with a static IP at no extra cost.
Should I choose 5G or full fibre?
Where full fibre is available, it is usually the better main connection for an office, from £45.99 a month. 5G is ideal when there is no fixed line yet, the site is temporary, or you want a backup. Many businesses use both.
