OUR PRICING
Two packages, one fixed monthly price
Most IT companies make you sit through a meeting to hear a number. Here are ours. Both packages are billed per user, per month, so the price scales with your team rather than your ticket count. Microsoft and cyber security licences are billed separately, at cost. Where you land within a range depends on your setup: on-premise servers, compliance requirements and faster response needs push you towards the top, and a cloud-only business with standard cover sits near the bottom. All prices exclude VAT. Prices last reviewed on 1 October 2026.
Core support
£30 to £48 per user, per month
Everything needed to keep a business running properly day to day.
- Unlimited helpdesk support, 9am to 5.30pm
- 24/7 proactive monitoring
- Patching and security updates
- Endpoint protection
- Response times guaranteed in writing
- Named engineers who know your setup
Complete IT and security
£55 to £90 per user, per month
For businesses with compliance requirements or sensitive client data.
- Everything in Core support
- Managed cyber security
- Microsoft 365 management
- Backup and disaster recovery
- Cyber Essentials guidance
- Regular IT strategy reviews
For a team of 15, that is roughly £500 to £700 a month on Core support, or £850 to £1,350 a month on Complete IT and security. For comparison, a single in-house IT hire costs upwards of £2,500 a month before employment costs, and ad hoc support runs at £75 to £150 an hour once something has already gone wrong.

WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR
Included as standard, stated upfront
The support itself is not metered. You are not charged per ticket, per call or per hour for day to day work, so nobody in your team has to weigh up whether a problem is worth reporting. Every package includes the following as standard:
- Unlimited remote support, 9am to 5.30pm on working days
- Urgent out-of-hours support when you need it
- Proactive monitoring around the clock
- A guaranteed response time, in writing
- Patching and updates across every machine
- Antivirus and endpoint protection
- Staff onboarding and offboarding
- Account management and regular reviews
- Engineers who know you, not a call centre
What sits outside the monthly fee
Some things are charged separately, and we would rather you knew about them now than found them on an invoice. Hardware is bought, not rented. Microsoft and software licences are billed at cost, on top of support. Projects such as office moves and migrations are quoted separately, or charged at our ad hoc rates below. Whether on-site visits are included depends on how close you are and which package you are on, and we set that out in your quote. And there is a one-off onboarding fee, typically £500 to £2,000, which covers auditing, documenting and taking over your systems properly.
Ad hoc and project rates
For project work, and for businesses that would rather pay as they go than take a monthly package, our engineers are charged at a fixed rate:
| Ad hoc and project work | Price (ex VAT) |
|---|---|
| Hourly | £100 an hour |
| Half day | £340 |
| Full day | £650 |
All prices exclude VAT. Larger projects such as migrations and office moves are quoted as a fixed price.

These are the same prices whether you are round the corner from our Arundel office or further afield. We support businesses across West Sussex, including Horsham, Crawley and Brighton, and companies elsewhere in the UK that want to hand their IT over completely. COMPARING PRICES
How is IT support priced in the UK?
Most managed IT support in the UK is sold per user, per month, but it is not the only model. Some providers charge per device, by the hour, or for blocks of prepaid hours. Knowing which model a quote uses is the first step to comparing it fairly.
| Pricing model | How it is charged | Typical cost |
|---|---|---|
| Per user, per month (our model) | A fixed monthly fee for each person, covering all of their devices | £30 to £90 per user with us, depending on package |
| Per device | A monthly fee for each laptop, desktop and server | Varies by provider and device type |
| Ad hoc or hourly | Pay for each job when something breaks, often with a minimum charge | £100 an hour with us (£340 half day, £650 day). Typically £75 to £150 an hour across the UK |
| Prepaid block of hours | Buy a bank of hours upfront and draw it down | Varies by provider and block size |
| In-house IT hire | A salaried employee | Upwards of £2,500 a month before employment costs |
Our prices are the ones published on this page. All our prices exclude VAT. The UK hourly range and the in-house figure are typical UK costs from our IT support cost guide.
Why do IT support prices vary so much between providers?
Two quotes with the same headline price per user can cover very different amounts of work. These are the differences that usually explain the gap:
- What is included. Cyber security, backup and Microsoft 365 management are part of some packages and extras in others.
- Tickets and hours. Some support is unlimited; some comes with an allowance and charges beyond it.
- Response times. Whether they are written into the contract, and how fast they are.
- On-site visits. Included, capped, or charged per visit.
- Minimums and contract length. Minimum user numbers, minimum monthly spend and terms of one to three years all change the real cost.
- Licences. Passed through at cost, as we do, or bundled in with a mark-up.
Why are some IT support companies cheaper?
A low headline price per user usually means less is included, or the difference is recovered elsewhere: a minimum number of users, charges for visits or tickets above an allowance, or a longer contract. When you compare quotes, work out what each would cost for your actual team with the cover you actually need, rather than comparing the headline figures.
Questions to ask before you compare quotes
- Is support unlimited, or is there a ticket or hours allowance?
- What are the response times, and are they in the contract?
- Are cyber security, backup and Microsoft 365 management included?
- Are on-site visits included?
- Is there a minimum number of users or a minimum monthly spend?
- How long is the contract, and what is the notice period?
- Are licences passed through at cost?

FAQ
IT support pricing: common
questions
Core support is £30 to £48 per user per month. Complete IT and security, which adds managed cyber security, Microsoft 365 management, backup and disaster recovery and Cyber Essentials guidance, is £55 to £90 per user per month. All prices exclude VAT.
Unlimited remote support from 9am to 5.30pm on working days, proactive monitoring around the clock, patching and updates, endpoint protection, staff onboarding and offboarding, account management and a guaranteed response time in writing. Support is not metered, so there is no charge per ticket or per call.
Hardware, Microsoft and software licences at cost, projects such as office moves and migrations, and a one-off onboarding fee of typically £500 to £2,000 that covers auditing, documenting and taking over your systems properly.
Yes, from 9am to 5.30pm on working days, with urgent out-of-hours support when needed. There is no per-ticket charge and no fair use clause that quietly bites at a certain number of tickets. When support is metered, staff hesitate to report problems, and that costs more than it saves.
Both packages are billed per user, per month, on a rolling annual agreement. The per-user model means the price scales cleanly as you hire, and nobody is penalised for having a laptop, a desktop and a mobile.
A 10 person business should typically budget £400 to £900 a month for a fully managed service. A 25 person business should expect £1,000 to £2,000 a month. Businesses with on premise servers or higher security requirements sit at the upper end.
Per user. One monthly fee covers everything that person uses, so a laptop, a desktop and a mobile do not triple the bill.
No. Microsoft and other software licences are billed separately, at cost, on top of the support fee. Managing Microsoft 365 is included in our Complete IT and security package.
Our ad hoc and project rate is £100 an hour, £340 for a half day or £650 for a full day, plus VAT. Across the UK, ad hoc IT support typically costs £75 to £150 an hour, often with a minimum charge per visit. It suits very small setups with little to go wrong. Once a business relies on its IT every day, a fixed monthly package usually costs less than paying for problems one at a time.
Our helpdesk is open from 9am to 5.30pm on working days, and urgent out-of-hours support is available when you need it. Monitoring runs around the clock.
It depends on how close you are to our Arundel and Chichester offices and which package you are on. Most support is done remotely, and we set out exactly what on-site cover you get in your quote.
