What are FTTP and FTTC?
FTTP stands for “fibre to the property.” It runs all the way into your house on fibre optic wires. As a result, it can deliver ultrafast broadband rates of up to 900Mb and is also the most reliable broadband technology in the UK.
Although FTTP is not yet available everywhere, it is being built across the UK. Full Fibre is the name given to our FTTP broadband.
FTTC stands for “fibre to the cabinet”. It uses fibre connections to a cabinet on your street, then copper cables the rest of the way to your home, and is also known as fibre broadband.
