Having multiple sites across the south while also being connected with third parties across the UK.
Challange
Due to having a dated set up and multiple sites, this created a few issues we had to keep in mind such as:
- Upgrading the existing equipment with minimal downtime
- Making sure all sites were connected in regards to their telecoms
- Allow for easy file sharing between sites
With various developments going ahead for Pacalis, the transition had to be as smooth as possible to allow for the staff to work with no issues.

Solution
After careful planning and consulting with the client we put together a planned strategy for transforming the current set up, which was an old server in the office, to a fully managed cloud based solution held on a VPS and managed by us.
We also upgraded their broadband line to FTTP (Fibre To The Property) so they could receive speeds in the region of 150 Mbps. This allowed for a smoother connection to the cloud and increased their strength for the VoIP Phone System we installed.
Overall the job was a great success with minimal downtime. The staff were uninterrupted and could carry on working as normal. The set up we installed is now seeing them become more productive and less stressed with slow, outdated technology!
